We are proud to announce that the Supreme Knights of Columbus Board of Directors have chosen a winner of the prestigious Knights of Columbus International Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest from our state. Nicole O’Brien’s essay was chosen from hundreds of entries around the world and, as the Supreme Knights of Columbus noted in the announcement, her essay “truly defines Going into the Peripheries.” Today’s Catholic youth will play a major role in the future direction of the Church, and the Supreme KoC notes that they are on the right track. With a strong base of Catholic beliefs, they will excel in the roles of future priests, sisters, teachers, and legislatures.
Along with Supreme KoC, we congratulate Nicole O’Brien and wish you continued successes on your journey!
