Former Navy Capt., Father Bill Devine (Former Military Chaplain and Present Pastor Of St. Thomas Aquinas of Bridgewater). In 1989, after 14 years with the Archdiocese of Boston, served 22 years with the Navy and Marine Corp. as Chaplain. Served three tours in Iraq as well as many other overseas assignments including many tours at sea on Naval Ships.

At the 112th Annual Patriots’ Day Dinner held in Framingham, the 2012 Massachusetts State Council Knights of Columbus Lantern Award Winner was Former Navy Capt., Father William Devine (Former Military Chaplain and Present Pastor Of St. Thomas Aquinas of Bridgewater). After 14 years with the Archdiocese of Boston, served 22 years with the Navy and Marine Corp. as Chaplain. Served three tours in Iraq as well as many other overseas assignments including many tours at sea on Naval Ships.

Father Devine becomes the 56th Lantern Award Recipient among notable recipients such as Cardinals O’Malley, Cushing, O’Connor, Law, Spellman and Mederios, Robert Kennedy, John McCormack and George Meany.
